Designer Joi Mahon is an experienced  and award winning Designer, published author, stylist and expert in fit  with a Degree in Fashion Design from Iowa State University. She provides a variety of services to the fashion industry, home sewing industry, and works one on one with custom clients in her private studio as well as creating couture designs for bride's and clients all over the US.

Industry Services include patternmaking, design, prototype development, pattern writing, article writing, illustrations, and other free-lance services. She currently writes a monthly column for SQE Professional Trade Publication, and owns a US Patent on an apparel item being licensed for mass market.  For custom couture gowns, she works individually with local  clients  and those  who choose to travel to utilize her services and expertise. 

 Custom gowns are drafted to your measurements, body type and proportions.  High quality fabrics and assembly techniques are key to successful designs, and one of the differences her  designer gowns have to offer.  All of the fabrics in her gowns are specially ordered from companies that supply many of the leading bridal designers and other high end sources.  Joi  strives for quality gowns and listen to your ideas so the planning and selection of your gown is an enjoyable and memorable experience.

 Joi is a member of the SEA Sewing Eductors Alliance, ASDP The Association of Sewing and Design Professionals and a Textile Industry Advisory Board.
