AND THE WINNER IS....
We interrupt this fit blog to announce the winner of our Super Sewing Weekend Challenge.
What a fun weekend it was with snow, football and SEWING! Thanks for those of you who shared your Super Sewing Weekend sewing projects and goals. I am a big goal setter and find when I make goals I accomplish much more than if I don’t and that makes a big difference in my sewing.
I have a great prize for…
She will be receiving one of my favorite pressing tools the Ultimate Chubby Board patterned after the ones I learned to tailor on when I apprenticed with a tailor all through high school. I use mine every single day.
Congrats! Our winner was selected very scientifically. I had my four year old pick a number between all the entries and he chose number Five because he will be five in April, and lucky for Sydnie because I will be meeting her in person in a few weeks when I teach a Baby Lock Love of Fashion event. It must be destiny!
Be watching for a BIG prize announcement coming later this week for those of you participating in the Designer Joi New Year New Dress Contest. If you have not looked into participating now is the time. Set a goal!
Today is also a special day because Craftsy is celebrating their 1000th class.
Most of you know and participate in my Craftsy classes. I truly LOVE Craftsy and their learning environment. The fact that you can take a class and interact with your instructor is priceless. As an instructor I can tell you the most rewarding aspect of teaching fit is being able to work with many of you and help you achieve fitting results that you have never been able to achieve with other methods.
If you have never taken a Craftsy class today is the day to start. Please follow my link below to receive a 50% discount on most classes and to see a wide selection of what Craftsy has to offer.
I want to feature one of my favorite classes: Sewing Bras: Construction and Fit
As a fitting expert I preach to my custom clients and my students that you must wear the correct bras and foundation garments. This is a wonderful class to learn how to sew your own bras and this is on my top 10 list.
