Cozy Clothes Reversible Jacket

Join Joi in sewing this easy-to-fit and fun-to-sew Cozy Pattern. Perfect for any season and fabric, the Cozy Clothes Jacket pattern can be designed for any style. Sew with reversible fabric for contrast; boiled wool, shearling, or leather for a warm fall/winter layer; knit for casual wear; upcycle an old sweater for the front; crepe for a lovely spring dress overlay; lace for a wedding; and many more. The workbook walks you through many more fabric options and flat pattern guides meant to be used with Joi’s video lessons for a variety of sewing options. Upscale the design by adding a lining, making a reversible quilted jacket with or without a collar, or deconstructing it with raw edges or accenting it with decorative features on your serger or sewing machine.

The finished jacket may be beaded or embroidered, with other embellishments added for interest. The pattern can be made with or without the collar and with or without sleeves.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Main fabric: This pattern can be sewn in just about any fabric:

Fleece, knit, crepe, lace, faux fur, any fabric you desire. This pattern will use 2-3 yards of fabric, depending on the length of the jacket and whether you add or remove the sleeves.
