Description
Join Designer Joi for a week of draping lessons during this live master class featuring fundamentals of draping, plenty of creative design, a bonus lesson on bias draping, and a fun bodice design. This class will also feature two post-event live Zoom lessons hosted by Joi for complimentary evaluations of your designs. With over 25 years of draping in her professional career, Joi hopes to inspire her students and teach quality and practical techniques to empower you in your sewing and design.
This event will feature multiple lessons each day, filmed live on Zoom. Students will be able to interact and ask questions. For students who may not be able to watch live, the lessons will be recorded and posted in an online classroom, where they will have access to them for several weeks after the event. Space is limited, so register ASAP.
There is no need to worry about traveling. You can learn in the comfort of your own home or sewing studio while still enjoying quality retreat time with Joi and other students.

Students will need to pre-cut their muslin. Instructions will be provided a few weeks before the event.
A draping dress form is required. Joi will share information about dress forms on her FB Live, or you can reach out to the studio with your questions. Joi recommends the half-scale forms available at www.designerjoi.com. Supplies are limited. First come, First Serve.
A list of individual class times will be provided a few weeks before the event, but classes will have morning and afternoon sessions, a bonus evening session, and additional complementary times.
