The Ultimate Pattern Design Workshop is Designer Joi’s premier classroom pattern. This pattern block is meant to be used in combination with Designer Joi fit and creative design classes where individual pattern design techniques and fitting will be applied. This pattern is the core block for a variety of garments and pattern styles and features the underlying sloper shape for ease in applying fitting adjustments (using Joi’s pattern fit methods) and for flat pattern designing of the specified class pattern. Specific lessons will take you from patterning to sewing an entire garment using a variety of fabrics and fun embellishments.

How to access your pattern:

After the order is processed, the studio will email the pattern block and coat workbook directly to you. This is not an instant download. Please allow up to 48 hours for processing (excluding weekends and holidays). You will want to ensure our email is correctly spelled in your contact folders: joi@dressformsdesign.com. If you are having issues finding your document, please check your Junk folder.

The email will state “Coat Pattern” and include either separate files or a zipped folder. Sometimes, the files are sent via WeTransfer to your email. When you receive the email, you will right-click the items and save them to a specific file on your computer. The files do NOT automatically download when you open the email.
