The Pattern Club Kids Course Catalog includes The Classic Dress downloadable PDF pattern as a Core pattern to get you started.

Tired of buying pattern after pattern for kids when they are all basically the same? It’s no secret patterns for kids are easy to create and many beginning pattern makers start out creating kids’ clothing, and you can too. Our introductory lesson and support materials take you through this basic shape and the sewing steps to create it even without any changes, and this pattern is a great resource for anyone sewing for kids and excellent resource for beginners.

Important non-sewing intro lessons also include topics such as how to sew for kids, fitting & measuring children, and youth safety when working with your own kids and others. Once you master the Core Classic Design, additional lessons and wearable fun include: Birthday fun, The Monogram Dress, Boys Romper and Bowtie, Beach fun, Fanciful Fur Coat, Tweens Skirt and T, Winter Splendor, and more… The sizes for Pattern Club Kids clothing begin with approx. 3 months – tweens. Some lessons will target specific size ranges, but most can be modified to any child-tween size.

For over 30 years Joi has been designing wearable fun for little ones. Having studied how clothing fits children and their unique figure dynamics, Joi will share her expert skills and experience sewing for kids in a design studio just like she teaches in her premier Perfect Pattern and Fit Club for adult clothing. Patterns are expensive- what if you could learn to make them and avoid the time, money, and repetitive steps of sewing multiple patterns?
